Potions Class

Time to for an experiment! This Harry Potter themed Potions class will help your campers work on their teamwork skills in the creation of something special. It will also get your campers to step outside their comfort zones, as they present their creations to the group at large.

Divide the group into smaller teams, and put their teamwork to the test in the creation of a science experiment. Give each group (or let groups choose) a different potion to do: Fizzy Fairy Potion, Love Potion, Fluffy Slime. After they’ve created it, they present their potion to the entire group and tell a story about the magic the potion possesses.

Fizzy Fairy Potion:

  • Baking Soda
  • White Vinegar

  • Pink Food Colouring
  • Glitter
  • Glass Jar
  • Tray for the overflow

Instructions: Fill the jar halfway with vinegar, then add a drop of food colouring. Next, add 1 tbsp of dish soap and some glitter. Stir in a teaspoon of baking soda. Watch the potion rise!
